Deciding to apply for this one-year NLGL Program was far from an easy decision for me. I had a lot of concern and uncertainty before I started my study here. After spending two semesters studying in NCSU, I feel lucky that I have made the right choice. I feel sincerely thankful for all the people who have helped and supported me during this year.
Firstly, my heartfelt thanks should go to all the professors who have taught me and instructed me during this year. Their professionalism and devotion have deeply impacted me in my future career and shown me how to be a qualified teacher as well as a lifelong learner. Many thanks go to Dr. Spires, Dr. Beal, Dr. Robinson, Dr. Young, Dr. Hervey, Dr. Chirino-Klevans and my advisor - Dr. Lee, etc.
Secondly, my heart feel grateful for Principal Wang, who has been supporting his teachers to seek oversea education, both financially and spiritually. Thanks for all the school leaders who have encouraged and facilitated my application for this program. Without their understanding and support, I could not come here to study and do this Creative Synthesis.
Thirdly, my love and thanks should go to my supportive families. Being away from my lovely home is a challenge for me, as well as for them. During this year, whenever I feel lonely, lost or frustrated, they are my most powerful backup forces. Although I treasure my study time here in NCSU, I am also looking forward to my reunion with them in the coming August.
Last but not least, I appreciate the timely and kindly help from all my friends and classmates, who patiently help me to solve the troubles and constantly fill me with positive energies.
In a word, my sincere thanks go to many people, who are priceless gifts for me.
